Comparison chart of Theories of Personality

Since the time of the early Greeks  people have been sorted and slotted into categories. Some theories have 9 types, some 16, some even more. But the vast majority of thinkers have found that we can narrow the field down to 4 major personality types. Different theorists have given the four types different names but it seems there is agreement on the distinctions between the four. Here is a chart that shows the different names that different theorists have given to these four basic types.
